Chick Peas, Prunotto

Black turtle beans, or fagioli neri, are found on dinner tables across Italy, in bean salads, with olive oil, or in vegetable soups like minestrone. Chick peas, or “Ceci”, are commonly served with olive oil and canned tuna, in pasta e fagioli (pasta and chick pea soup), or crushed into chickpea flour for baking or frying
