DiPalo's Homemade Burrata
Di Palo's homemade Burrata ('Buttered' in Italian) is a delicious whole milk cheese made daily at Di Palo's for decades. Burrata can be described as a Mozzarella stuffed with cream and strips of 'stracciatella' (stretched curd) giving it an unusually soft texture. Di Palo Select's Burrata is shipped in a little water and salt to keep it fresh, and must be shipped overnight. It goes well with salad, prosciutto, crusty bread, fresh tomatoes with olive oil and cracked black pepper, or pasta. Serve at room temperature.
