Peperoni di Senise- Fried
20 g. package of dried sweet peppers. A cornerstone of Basilicata cuisine, peperoni di Senise hail from the town of Senise, an area crossed by several rivers including the Agri and Sinni rivers. These peppers are fried for six seconds in hot extra virgin olive oil and lightly salted. The peppers are very crunchy making them either great for a snack or crumbled over a nice pasta dish.
